To reserve the dates and times your pet will need care, a 50% deposit is required for any "owner is out of town" service such as a series of drop-in visits/walks or any hourly or overnight house/pet sitting. The remaining balance is due no later than the day the service begins.
One-time walks or drop-in visits may be paid the day of service.
Payment for reoccurring walks or drop-in visits (ex: every Mon-Weds-Fri @ 11am) is requested weekly on Fridays for the current calendar week.
Venmo & Paypal, cash, or personal check (to Lyndsay Burr) are all accepted.
A 25% surcharge will be applied to pet care scheduled during major holidays or holiday weekends due to high demand and heavy traffic.
For 2023 this includes the following dates:
April 8th & 9th, Easter weekend
May 26th -29th, Memorial Day weekend
July 1st - 4th, Independence Day weekend
September 1st - 4th, Labor Day weekend
November 23rd - 26th, Thanksgiving/Black Friday weekend
December 23rd - January 1st, Christmas through New Years
While Lyndsay/Sandbarks makes every effort to remain flexible and accommodating, pet owners that cancel service(s) "on short notice" and are unable to be reschedule will forfeit their 50% deposit or receive a 50% refund if they had already paid in full. "Short notice" is defined as same-day cancellation for a single walk or drop-in visit, or less than 3 days notice for an "owner out of town" series of walks, drop-in visits, hourly or overnight pet sitting service. If the owner reschedules for a later date at the time of cancellation, the 50% deposit/credit will be carried forward and applied to the next service.
In the event that Lyndsay/Sandbarks must cancel a pet's scheduled care, the pet owner will receive a full refund. In addition, a discount equal to 10% of the cost of the cancelled service(s) will be credited to the owners account, and applied towards any future bookings.
